"I have stayed here several times, but the management has changed since my last stay 5 months ago. I received an email prior to this stay, but nothing described the change in the shuttle service. Because they previously shared a regular shuttle with Embassy Suites, I waited for that vehicle, but was then told they now had a different bus and that I would have to call them for a pickup. I should have been made aware of this ahead of time. I went to the bar to order food to take to my room. One $12 item was charge at $14 and when I asked about it I was told the system had incorrect prices. He cancelled the charge and corrected it. But I'm sure other customers are getting overcharged. The water in the shower was not hot. It was tolerable, but I definitely like to take a hot shower when travelling. On my next trip out of PDX I have booked a different hotel. I hope the Holiday Inn PDX corrects some of these issues. "

"Still a comfortable, convenient, affordable place to stay, but the quality of the breakfasts has declined significantly. Gone are the made to order omelet station, DIY Waffle bar, and cut melon/pineapple/berries, replaced by warmers with scrambled eggs, sausage and soggy, chewy waffle, and a bowl with whole apples, oranges and bananas . Also, thermostats have been "upgraded" to a centrally controlled digital modules, which reset to 74 degrees every few hours, turning your room into an unwanted sauna, and requiring you to get up in the middle of the night to reset the temperature."

"This hotel is great, it’s missing a good food menu and reasonable prices. We don’t drink alcohol so we ordered 2 mocktails each was 20.00 no alcohol. We never went up to the rooftop throughout our stay. The food was so so. Not worth the price. I would highly recommend going to eat at other places. The restaurants at the hotel were always empty, 2-4 people max during breakfast, lunch and dinner. It’s unfortunate because the restaurants should be just as good as restaurants outside the hotel, and not overly priced. Everything else was excellent. "
