"We were very disappointed in our stay. The desk chair in our room was torn and the surface of the side chair was peeling off. They had put a cover over the seat to hide the tears but the back and the arms were cracked and peeling. When we returned to our room on the 2nd day, we found 2 bags of garbage on the floor, garbage laying in the corner that wasn’t ours, dirty, wet towels on the bathroom floor (we had hung ours up after showering) our bed wasn’t made up and they hadn’t replenished the pods of coffee."

"The place had a very strong smell of cleaning chemicals, yet it still didn’t feel clean. The bedding, carpet, and overall condition were very old, worn, and unpleasant. It felt like a rundown motel with the Best Western name attached to it."

"The pictures in the listing don't do the property justice. The views of the river, the trees and ferns were beautiful. The path to the river felt safe. The furnishings that were chosen created a tasteful and peaceful environment. Sitting in the hot tub and feeling the mist from the falling rain was great. Only downside was the internet was not working for the first day and a half, but it was beyond the control of the hosts. In some ways it was a blessing because it forced us offline and allowed us to enjoy the old school albums on the stereo as we sat in hot tub. I felt the nightly rate was fair for what you get, but the fees are exorbitant, but I guess that's how Vrbo rolls."

"Has everything you need for a 3 to 7 day stay. Full kitchen and laundry room. Plenty of room an closet space for all your cloths an shoes and luggage."

"The photos on the site are outdated and there is a large fence blocking most of the view shown here. Not a complete fence though, so the first morning I went to walk outside to find a strange man and his dog standing near the fire pit staring at us. He said he was there to get his dog but it was still startling. Also, the furniture inside is no longer the nice set shown. Hot tub is slightly green, and others have mentioned a smell in the cabin. I think both of these things are related to hard water in the area and not really an issue. The living room furniture and beds in the loft are not comfortable at all but the main bed is nice. The wood stove is awesome and the dining room area was perfect for playing games and enjoying the wood stove. Owner was easy to work with and communicates well. I also appreciate the firewood provided and the kitchen had dog bowls which was a cute touch. Overall this is a good little cabin, but the posting needs to be updated to reflect the current state of the property."

"We loved having our women’s weekend there. We loved it so much that we’ve already booked it for next year!The view cannot be beat. There is nothing like sitting in the hot tub and watching the roaring river. There were 12 of us, and the space was great for us. We were able to all sit at the table for meals and games. There was a regular fridge and a small fridge. The living room easily accommodated all of us on couches and chairs. They left more than enough wood for us to keep fires going through the weekend. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels. So fun!!"

"It was an amazing time, woke up to complete whiteout and rain the entire time we were there! "

"Nice place to stay close to Mt. Hood. Hot tub was a nice addition and the old historic building was quirky and fun. "
