"Very nice place to stay as a parent of a Sonoma State student"

"Beautiful property but we had a few hiccups during our stay. A staff member opened the door and walked into my room without knocking (I presume he didn’t realized I’d checked in, but it was still alarming), one of the bath robes was wet, the record player in our room was broken and the shelf in the shower was falling off the wall. What I’m most unimpressed by though was that I shared this feedback upon checkout a wasn’t offered more than an apology from the host. I also shared this in the hotel’s feedback form which they sent me after my stay and also never heard from anyone. I rarely write reviews but the disregard for my experience when shared with the hotel left a bad taste in my mouth. At ~$500 per night, I expect more from a service perspective "

"Rooms are always spacious and nice. Have a nice fireplace, but it doesn't regulate the temp well enough. The beds are so hard and unbearable. We had a pincher bug on our bed after housekeeping was in. Also got a handicapped room with handicapped shower when we didn't ask for that. So that part really sucked. If I was thinking I would've requested a different room. "

"The staff were super nice. We stayed for our anniversary and it was great. The room had a couch and a table to chill. The room had a little porch with a fire pit that was nice at night. The bed was so comfortable and the pillows were just right. The courtyard had tables to hang out, a bag toss game and a big connect four. Super cute. Close to dining, stores and a casino. "
