The Black Dolphin Motel

"One night away with myself and daughter for a beach trip. We did not liaise with any staff so could not really rate that appropriately. The room was perfect for what we needed it for. It was clean, great location, easy parking and seamless check-in. The business spans over two large properties. We were opposite the holiday park. There was a pool available on our side, and a small water park area with slides and sprinklers available in the holiday park side. I am unsure if you are able to utilise this if you're not staying on the holiday park side. Worth checking if you are travelling with kids. The property itself was really well maintained. Gardens, walkways, amenities. We come to Merimbula from Canberra often, and have tried out quite a few of the hotels. Some hits, a few big misses, but this one was a hit. Will definitely stay again. As my daughter put it "This is our new spot we can come to every time!""

Everything—absolutely everything—is clean and well-thought-out; there’s space for our luggage, and plenty of room in the bathroom for our personal items. The pool is spotlessly clean. Wow."

"We weren't really sure what to expect when we booked Summerhill Motor Inn, given it was one the older looking venues in Merimbula. I can definitely say we were more than happy with our booking. The Inn was spotless!! Our room was immaculately clean, the bed was great and the pillows just fantastic. So much so we asked the owner where can we buy them!! Absolute value for money!!"

"The beach house was exactly what we were expecting. The view was more wonderful than we had hoped. Such a gorgeous place, with a kitchen with all the basics you need to cook well. The linen was wonderful with fluffy quilts perfect for snuggling. The house is spacious while not losing that gorgeous beach shack vibe. There are plenty of books and a collection of dvds. This was the perfect long weekend away stay with three friends and a small dog. I can’t wait to come back."
