"Property was very clean, close to 4 mile beach."

"Quite disappointed. The hotel in general was pleasant. But the pool area wasn’t kept clean every day & there was tissues left for three days & not swept away. Our room wasn’t swept each day as we would return to find the same rubbish on the floor after a clean. Bathroom taps not cleaned off & toilet not cleaned & flushed. But bed very comfortable & breakfast very nice! "

"Great location, close to everything, pool was good, albeit it was low season but having 4 of them meant you probably always get a lounge no matter what time of year it is! Spa in the room is a great touch, although loud, it was comfortable. Room wasn’t spotless on arrival, bathroom had a slight odour but that is expected with all the humidity and a fan that could use a proper clean up! Bed was comfortable, air con was great, fridge was very cold, froze a few beers so had to be adjusted, water pressure was great. Staff were friendly and welcoming."

"The staff was very friendly the room lacked charm. No wall decor just plane old white dingy walks with a stained bed cover . The bathroom was serviceable but had a very old feel and look to it. I did enjoy the pool area and the beach. "

"Staff were so welcoming and helpful, they really went out of their way to make our stay feel special. The room was beautiful and very clean. A nice touch was the on tap sparkling and chilled water in the corridor. "

"We were a bit early checking but it was no problem. Parking is underground and free. Washer/dryers are shared between 2 apartments and are also free. Within walking distance of the main shopping and dining area as well as 4-mile beach and the pier. "

"We had a wonderful stay. Great lodge, super clean, very well appointed, lovely bar and restaurant with delicious food. The setting is amazing, you are in the rainforest with a stretch of river to swim in, the pool is also unique! The spa treatments we had were extremely good and reasonably priced. The stay was made extra special by the wonderful staff, everyone was warm and welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay magical. We hope to return one day!!! "
