"We had a lovely stay at the Fuji View Hotel. You can choose a room facing either Mt. Fuji or Lake Kawaguchi, though the actual view depends on the weather. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a wide range of both Japanese and Western options. The hotel is easily accessible from Kawaguchiko Station via a free hourly shuttle or the Saiko sightseeing bus that stops nearby every 30 minutes. Located away from the town center, the hotel offers a peaceful atmosphere with plenty of walking paths and beautiful surroundings. Perfect for a relaxing getaway."

"Wonderful stay and a unique experience. Dinner in room and breakfast in banquet hall. Traditional sleeping on tatami was surprisingly comfortable. Many staff are bilingual which made communication easy. And the hotel itself was in a quiet location overlooking the lake even though there were many tourists in the area.
