Asafuji is such a lovely small establishment. Traditional ryokan with service, onsen and food ... all excellent ! Work up in the morning with Mt Fuji right infront of us - so amazing !!

Staff were so friendly & welcoming. We came on a cloudy day and at the time there was no visibility of Mt Fuji. One of the hotel staff said she would pray we see Fuji during our stay and sure enough, later that some day we saw Fuji so clearly. It was a lovely gesture. Room was adorable & had view of Lake and Fuji. We loved wearing our Yukata & the Onsen was a nice treat to end the day sight seeing. We had it to ourselves and watched Fuji disappear into the night. Bus stop for the sightseeing bus is very close. Overall, I was so pleased I booked this hotel. Made our trip so special.
