Owners are very nice ,the lady knows a bit of English. She made delicious breakfast. Bring your own towel, otherwise extra charge. Walking distance to Hkuba Goryu ski Resort about 5-10 min. My room included private bathroom and shower.
Convenient and easy to access. Close to goryu ski resort, can walk or take the shuttle bus around the corner. Room is clean, shared toilet is a bit smelly. Limited time 4:30-9:00pm for shared bath. Limited amenities, pure room rental with tv and warmer.

Good enough if you are just there to ski.
Budget friendly pension, you get what you pay for. If you're just there to ski, want to save money, and don't care for a fancy place or amenities. Room was decently spacious, we had a quad room 2 beds with 2 more beds with the loft so could fit up for 4 people.
Pros: Walkable to Goryu Ski Resort, there are a couple of bars/restaurants within 2 minutes of walking. There is a place to store your skis/snowboard equipment and its a heated room so your items can dry. The owners will cook for you (extra cost) for breakfast or dinner (never tried it, but others staying here said the food was solid).
Con: You can only use the shower from 4pm - 9:30pm and its on the bottom floor. There is only 1 shower from what I saw. Ended up just using the onsen at Goryu Ski Resort every night after skiing to shower. The main shared bathroom only has 1 stall for the men's side, but there is one downstairs on the main floor too.
It’s a cosy, cute little place to stay in!
Just remember to bring your own towel if your fussy otherwise you only get a very small, thin towel to clean yourself with after the shower!
But the service was great and the owners are a cute couple who are always helpful!
the owner is very nice and welcoming.
our room was on the first floor and the shower was 2 floor under our floor and I found it not so convenient.
the toilet on our floor was smelly.
Was simply amazing older couple with great service probably not for the younger travelers who want to party but for the refined mature travelers perfect couldn’t have had a better experience
The kindness and hospitality showed by the hosts touched me greatly. They provided good and filing breakfast, as well as dinner, even extending the check out timing for me. The acocmodation is also v near to the Goryu ski resort. I will definitely recommend this accomodation to all my friends :)
Amazing breakfast, simple but clean a accommodations, friendly family staff, and nice little onsen after on the mountain. They even gave me ride to bus station in morning. 15 minute walk to Goryu and couple bars/restaurants within 1-2 blocks away. Would recommend staying here if wanting to stay in Goryu town.
