"Felt like we were in steerage on the Titanic."

"Easy and comfortable place to stay at this grand old hotel. May account for the odd musty smell at times. The bar entrance area is a great place to sit with a view, beautifully upholstered arm chairs with an art deco vibe. Stayed in the heritage room - standard basic room - so no view and the bathroom was dated and in need of a reno. But clean and comfortable. The bed was the best. King size and really comfortable. The room was spacious and pleasant. Tv needs an upgrade to smart tv. Parking is easy and free. Pool hotel is a great place after a walk in the national park - which is glorious!! Initially booked for 3 nights and booked an additional night. Great place to visit. 😊"

"The staff were friendly and helpful. Found an issue with the fridge. Water everywhere and not cold. It was cleaned up quickly but during the night it was evident that it had been turned down by previous guests as it was super noisy. Bedding was very fresh as usual and comfortable mattress but the net curtains needed a turn in the washing machine. Bit of black mould on them. "
