Look at hotels nearby before booking this hotel
It's the worst hotel I have been to this year. The room was too small. Breakfast doesn't correspond to the category of 5-star hotels. Stuff asked us every breakfast would we have dinner at the hotel restaurant? The plumbing is old and noisy, the water doesn't always stop after the toilet flush is used. In addition for all the abovementioned the man who was at the reception desk wrote in our check-out bill spa treatments for 90 EUR. All the arguments that we didn't use massage in the hotel were not heard. Only the argument that the spa was closed when we were checking in at the hotel influenced him to write off the massage fee regretfully.

Nice enough but don’t pay for the spa
The hotel is a 5-star hotel but a far cry from other 5-star hotels like the Hotel Excelsior Vittoria in Sorrento. But It’s modern and suits one’s needs just fine. We had a balcony with a wonderful view of Montercatini Alto. The location is ideal, a short walk down tree lined streets to the park and Ristorante Gourmet, perhaps the best meal we’ve had in Italy. The rooftop pool is small but sufficient enough for wading and sunning oneself with panoramic views. We opted for spa access and we’re extremely disappointed. The Turkish bath wasn’t working, the door handle on the ice shower is falling off, the emotional shower was barely a mist and pointless, and the jets in the main thermal pool were temperamental; They wouldn’t respond to us pushing the button to turn them on. The sauna was the only thing that seemed to be in proper condition.

Would not rate this a five star hotel. Room was adequate but extra bed for our son was extremely uncomfortable. Bed was not ready, no extra towels for third person. Was fine for an overnight but nothing more.

Nice hotel......but.
Hotel was very nice, if a bit minimalistic. From the way the room was set up, it seemed more suited to a single business person rather than a touring couple. €20 per night for hotel parking was steep, especially as the only other option was street parking with charges. Staff were very friendly and breakfast was enjoyable. The location was pretty good within Montecatini and the town is in a good position to visit both Florence and Pisa.

Great location to explore the park
We had good information for exploring Montecatini Terme. We enjoyed the complimentary snacks when we arrived, and the breakfast. We came to see the historical baths and also enjoyed a soak in the public bath.

New hotel, very modern and clean. Close to the center but very peaceful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only complaint we had when we arrived for breakfast at 8 am the first 2 days, there was nothing there to eat. They had a big group of people right before and the buffet was almost empty. We were not asked if we wanted coffee and couldn't figure out how to get it. Once the group left, we received the service we should've had from the beginning.

Spa Hotel in Montecatini
Chose this 5 star hotel primarily for its spa facilities which I have to say were excellent. However did not realise that usage was not included in the room rate - an additional cost of Euro 24 per person per day. Room was small but looked to be recently refurbished and very clean. However mattress very hard (and I like firm beds) so slept badly. Air con in room was just about adequate. Hotel was generally expensive for what was offered and not considered good value.

Superb value and a real treat
Without a doubt on the best bang-per-buck hotels I’ve used in Italy - and I’ve used hundreds. Great hotel with fantastic staff, great facilities (the rooftop pool is excellent), clean, modern . . . Crazy good value for the price. The onsite restaurant is really good too. A little pricey but the food is of a high standard, and the service really good too.

Our hotel was outstanding! This was our first trip to Montecatini Terme and this definitely is the hotel for anyone looking for luxurious comfort at an affordable price. Very modern and extremely clean.

We found this hotel to be as the website states, its not worth the rate unless you are on business, there are plenty of hotels in town if you don't want to spend what this hotel wants per night. facility has been renovated recently so the rooms are good, quite and everything seemed to function properly. Staff was a bit cold and couldn't really help with the questions we posed, so do some planning in advance. Location is good and a short walk to restaurants and the town square. European breakfast was included in our rate and it was very well laid out and the staff in the restaurant was really quite good.

Nice Hotel and close walk to center of town
Great place to stay. Highly recommend. Make sure you ask them to cut the door perimeter lighting off at night, as there is no way to do it from the room. It will keep you up at night otherwise.

5 star experience, beautiful place.
From the moment we arrived at the hotel you could feel the luxury, the intricate detail of how everything was designed. Spa was incredible and the room was great size along with the most comfiest bed and the cleanliness was flawless. We will certainly return.

We loved our stay at this hotel! DECOR: From the moment we reached the property, we were impressed with its beauty and splendor on the outside, which was also reflected inside. The main areas were immaculate and the design made you feel as if you were staying in a luxury hotel in Milan or Paris. There were many comfortable seating areas, both outside and inside the lounge. PARKING: We had no problems finding street parking and after buying parking passes for each day, we were given great instructions on where to park (and where not to). ROOM: We got a suite that slept 4 (king bed and sofabed). Nice shower in the "master" bedroom separate from the main bathroom, which had a wonderful jacuzzi tub. AMENITIES: - The hotel restaurant served a wonderful, full breakfast, and expensive, but delicious dinner. - The rooftop pool was not huge, but large enough for several people to enjoy at the same time. It can be windy on the roof and therefore, the pool can be colder than expected. There were plenty of lounge chairs, unbrellas and sun beds with canopies. The bar was fully stocked and the bartenders helpful and attentive. - Didn't use fitness or business centers. STAFF: Every staff member greeted us each time they saw us, were very helpful. DOWNSIDES: - Room: while our room was generally well-maintained and our requests for help quickly met, there was a disturbing reddish stain on the wall by the bed, no plug in bathtub, and no pool towels in our room. - Elevator is small and slow

Very modern,clean Hotel.
Definitely a 5 star and staff was very accommodating. If you are wanting to experience the true Italian atmosphere I would recommend an older hotel with character. This was very modern ans had rhe New York. Las Vegas feel inside.

Recommended, but.....
We arrived at this very sleek, modern (redone in 2014) hotel. There is no drive up. Luggage has to be taken from the street into the lobby (about a 70 ft. walk). There was a bellman to help. Lobby area is very small, but there are adjoining sitting areas, and beautiful outside areas to sit. Greeted beautifully. Receptionist escorted us to our room and pointed out amenities. Bed is low to the floor. We found out turndown service was only til 8PM (and not a minute later)! We asked about walking, driving, funicular, etc. at the front desk for the 2 days we were there. Advise, we found out was wrong. (The staff should be trained on options around town.) The hotel was a bit costly, but breakfast and spa facilities were included in our rate.

Beautiful Hotel, Minimalistic black,white & chrome theme interior. Wonderful views from the roof top sun deck with swimming pool. Very much an adult Hotel. Will be staying again
