Upon our arrival we were greeted by staff immediately and felt so welcome! The views,the room, the food and the wine were all amazing! 5 star dining on the terrace. Everyone was sp accommodating and informative. We can't wait to visit again!.

My only regret is not planning a longer stay. The restaurant at the hotel was delicious! The view of the sunset was spectacular and the wine and dining recommendations from the wait staff were great! I highly recommend their local wine, it was among the best I tried during the trip! The drive can be challenging so definitely do not follow the GPS and stick to the highways with the tolls. They are worth the convenience and time.

The property itself is beautiful. The building, grounds, and surrounding Tuscan views are gorgeous, and the photos and on-site spa were a big part of why we chose this hotel. The restaurant was a highlight. Dinner was excellent and the service was great. The breakfast buffet was also decent with a good selection. Unfortunately, the rooms and spa did not live up to the rest of the property. Our room was extremely small, and the bed and pillows were uncomfortable. The bathroom was also underwhelming and lacked amenities I would expect from a hotel with an on-site spa. The spa was our biggest disappointment. We chose this property specifically in part because of the spa and the amenities advertised. We expected access to the additional spa facilities described, but those were not offered as expected. The quality of the products, linens, and overall experience also felt well below what we anticipated from a resort spa. The property is beautiful and the restaurant is very good, but the rooms and especially the spa experience need improvement to match the setting, marketing, and overall expectations for this type of property.

Very nice property, comfortable beds and breakfast had a good variety. The restaurant on site however had substandard food which we didn’t enjoy better to go in the nearby town like Il Capriccio for a nice dinner.

The property was amazing, the staff were the most helpful of all the places we visited in Spain and Italy on our trip. I didn’t know we needed a car to visit this area and transport was arranged and the owner himself picked us up and dropped us off for a reasonable fee. This is a must see area.

This is a very nice - charming, small hotel with excellent service. It's old and at the same time is very well kept. Staff and service were amazing, including service desk, pool bar and restaurant. Great restaurant on the property, excellent food. And amazing views all around!

Excellent view with amazing sunsets. Great location to visit thermal club and natural thermal spot. Staff were eager to help although the restaurant could use more staff at dinner. Waiters were very polite although overwhelmed. Visited 10 yrs ago and will likely come back again.

This was a nice hotel near the hot spring. The food at the attached restaurant was good and reasonably priced. Too bad the pool was not open when we were there. Sarafim at the front desk was very helpful.

I booked this hotel as part of a splurge on a milestone birthday vacation in Italy, as a solo female traveler. It was the first true vacation I’ve taken in over five years (travel for work usually). This was worth every minute & penny. In terms of staff: if I could leave 10 or 100 stars, I would (and am not prone to hyperbole). Carlo, the manager is amazing. He offered me options to get there, to suit my budget and preference. On the last day, Carlo was a hero. When the (separate) online booking for a transfer (I had made myself) cancelled, Carlo found me a driver last minute & at reasonable price. This feels like staying with family, with many of the guests local Italians, and is the *opposite* of a tourist trap. The “room with a view” was gorgeous. The restaurant has an absolutely incredible view. The food was superb. The servers remember your preferences day to day. Very personalized. There is a spa on site and a large lap pool with a 360 view. Bring a swim cap or buy one there (it is mandatory) One caution if you do not rent a car: plan ahead as there are only a few private driver options. Even getting to the thermal falls takes planning as it is a bit of a long walk back but only 5-10 minutes by car. Best to plan ahead and book all car needs through the property. They communicate via WhatsApp very efficiently. Some reviews claim “old” but I disagree. While not the Four Seasons, has country charm. Only negative: no coffee maker or iron in the room (that I saw).

I will highly recommend this beautiful hotel to my family and friends, and I hope to return someday soon. The outstandingly helpful staff was gracious and gave me excellent assistance as a solo traveler. As I did not have a car, I needed to secure drivers from the train station pick up and to visit Cascate del Murino. We like the view, the breakfast, the friendliness of the staff members, the comfort of our room and the surrounding area of the resort. However, we did find a large section of spider web hanging from the top of our room. Also, it’s very difficult to get to the resort, but once you get there you’ll be able to enjoy it.
