Bahia Resort Hotel

"I arrived early to check in possibly at 3 PM. I did not get my room until 5 PM. There was no sense of urgency when I called to get my room serviced with towels and coffee. After my third day, I asked to have the sheets changed and it took four phone calls three to housekeeping and one to the front desk to finally get someone to come clean my room. A resort where I’m paying $700 a night. I had a great room with nice location on the Water side, but the Service needs some help."

"This place felt like Hawaii! Loved the slides for the kids but do call and check if it’s open sometimes they have maintenance going on. Also the staff was super friendly and made our kids so happy! Especially Emy and Rosa in the gift shop they delivered a snores set and cookies to our kiddos! Made it so special. It’s a great place to stay for families!"

"Loved the view. Like sitting on balcony at night. Cool and great view!Keys did not always work. Had to take both sets not knowing if key worked. Dish washer didn’t work. Sandi sent money for dishwasher issue and had it replaced day I left. Thank you."

"We had a great stay at the Surfer Beach Hotel. This is a fabulous location that is truly steps from the beach. We enjoyed the great views you have from the 3rd or 4th floor. We had a balcony that we could enjoy. And the beds are very comfy. Love that there is a deep tub in the bathroom. What a great treat these days. A few things that you should know before you go. Please do not read these as criticisms, they are not. But they are things I would want to know before going. First, there are no indoor gathering spaces. We are a family that likes to play games and cards, etc. I didn't check ahead of time, so that's on me. There are places to sit outside by the pool. There is also not a full compliment of cable channels on the TV. Most did not work for us. And there is no way to connect a device to the TV to stream. Again, not a criticism, it is not something that I checked for or was promised. Just something I wish I had, as we like to watch movies at night. There are several great places to get food. One is the World Famous restaurant. This is a standard sit down restaurant. Good prices. They have a great bar menu and small plates, so there is something for every budget. There is also Woody's, which has burgers, fries and a great fish & chips. They also have coffee drinks and breakfast. There is a small mexican place across the parking lot that has great food at affordable prices. And a small liquor store with a variety of drinks and snacks. All told we had a great time!"

"There is no staff. Or at least they were non responsive via call and email. Room was cute but needed a little tlc. The hot tub was filthy and needs to be deep cleaned, but was private. It was quiet which was nice."

"This property was perfect—quiet, comfortable, family friendly, stocked with everything we needed and more, and within easy walking distance of restaurants and Belmont Park. Walk across the boardwalk and you are on the beach. The second floor unit offers more privacy, which we definitely appreciated, We spent a lot of time on the balcony watching the sunsets. We were there during a heat wave and were nervous about no AC, but the ocean breeze, cross breeze with windows open, ceiling fans, and standing fans kept us cool and comfortable. Hosts were very responsive. Would love to stay here again and would highly recommend."
