"9+ out of 10 — A wonderful place to stay! We stayed at Steps to the Ocean for a full week, and honestly, we wished we had booked more time. The suite was spotlessly clean, modern, comfortable, and exceptionally well equipped. It had everything we needed, including a fridge, stove, coffee maker, kettle, and a great selection of small appliances. The hosts even provided ground coffee and a large variety of spices and fresh coffee cream, which was a very thoughtful touch. There was also a large flat-screen TV, along with an excellent assortment of books and maps to help us explore the area. The beautiful yard, patio, and BBQ area made the property even more enjoyable. It was a great place to relax after a day of exploring. The hosts were very welcoming, friendly, accommodating, and inviting, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The location was excellent as well — approximately 45 minutes to downtown Victoria and about 45 minutes to the Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal, making it a convenient base for exploring Vancouver Island. We would absolutely recommend Steps to the Ocean and will definitely book here again. A fantastic stay and easily 9+ out of 10!"

"This was an absolute beautiful little place. I highly recommend it. The Hosts are super friendly and welcoming. The place has an amazing view and the best place to wake up and have your morning coffee or watch the start at night. Right next to Mill bay Centre which has everything you need. The place is very clean and has all the essential that we needed. I will definitely stay there again. 5 star!"

"Great stay. Friendly owners and beautiful back yard. Owners are a welcoming and accommodating and also offer privacy. I wasn't sure if it was a resort type listing but can confirm it is a private residence where owners live in top section and the bottom is completely seperate for guests. Thanks for the stay, will be back."

Staying on a boat is a real treat and I recommend it to anyone that is looking for a new experience! Wow! Johan gave us a boat ride right to Buchart Gardens! Couldn’t have asked for a more lovely time!"
