"1. The hotel porters at the City Garden Makati (Francis, Gary, and Gerald) were exceptionally helpful. The hotel driver, Jon, has been picking us from the airport to the hotel and vice versa for about 5 years now, and he remains a careful driver and helpful with our luggage as well. 2. The breakfast food at the second floor restaurant is excellent and varied. 3. The rooms are clean and the room areas/spaces are big enough for comfort. 4. The location of the hotel is excellent: it is near fast food restaurants (KFC, McDonald's, Burger King for those who want to spare themselves from possible bad reactions to local food) and there are 7/11 stores for your other needs."

"Beautiful property. Seems like staff were either not communicating or management was not supporting as they ought. There was confusion over our transportation reservation. Dining room informed us that our meal would take long but once we let our sweet waitress know that we were catching a flight in a couple of hours she had all her coworkers pitch in! Food was very good."
