"LANGSHOTT STATEOF MIND Tudor Licious is all I can say , as whilst recumbent in my hotel room in Cannes after an early morning flight . Part of me had been. excited to leave britain the other wished I was waking slowly in the glorious four poster bed I had slept in .last night In hindsight somehow i knew it was a one of a kind hotel stay when the heavy studded door swing open onto a balcony overlooking a green algae duck.pond with two doves cooeing in contentment as the warm evening rain couldn't dampen mine or their mood . Glancing over at the silver champagne bucket filled with ice, I couldn't hold back a , you nailed it , smile as next to a welcome drizzle was a sweet powdery delight . Impressed on first sight , the decadent enclave of a suite named after the King of Kings brought pageantry to fantasy, as one couldn't help thinking that if the pond was connected to a river there would be a a royal barge waiting outside right now . As .for Manager Adam , nothing was too much trouble and opening the door onto a large granite monogrammed fireplace I swore I heard Delibes Flower duet Will be back ."

"Have used this hotel (use word hotel loosely) in the past & yes it has looked tired for a long time. I stupidly thought that as it was not available to book for a long period some upgrading may have taken place. How naive of me. Checked in at reception & our room had been changed. Not a good start as both me & my partner have mobility issues. Change of room then necessitated a steep set of stairs. Have plenty of photographs showing a lack of cleanliness of room. No housekeeping, dirty cleaning cloth left in bathroom sink along with a spoon. Window that did not close, bathroom was not very clean. Only one drinking cup, no bath mat (had to use hand towel). On day of departure at 09:35 there was a knock on room door quickly followed by someone tapping the door"
