"Absolutely horrible stay. GM was friendly and welcoming… but my god the cottage room has not been kept up or touched since I stayed here years ago. Smelt of mold and had black spots in corner of shower so we didn’t use it. Given you’re in Malibu and there is no ac in the rooms you leave your windows open for air and a breeze… No screens on windows made that impossible. The mosquitos and flys were flying in non stop so after being bitten we closed the windows and suffocated and sweat alll night long. No sleep. What a let down in a property I used to frequent regularly. Seems owners are waiting to sell it or completely tear it down."
