I am a World of Hyatt member and stay at Hyatt properties frequently. I have NEVER been treated this badly. Not even close. This was by far the WORST experience I’ve had with the brand. I do NOT recommend this hotel. The room smelled like cigarette smoke, completely unacceptable and we had to request a room change immediately. The elevators were dirty and clearly not well maintained. But the most shocking part? The HORRIBLE attitude of the staff. Completely unacceptable for a hotel of this level. I will NOT be returning to Hyatt Grand Central New York. Ever."

"The room was clean and comfortable. We had three people in a room with a king and a bunk bed. It was tight but well laid out. My only small complaint was how long you had to wait for an elevator. One elevator was not working and three are not enough to efficiently keep up with the weekend demand. Otherwise, one of my better stays in NYC!"
