"Checking in for really hard. I was late for the check-in for which I was charged $20 in cash. There was no mention of anything like late fee of $20 in the booking. I didn’t had cash so I had to wait for a long time and walk around with person helping me check-in before I enter at the midnight. The neighborhood was really really loud throughout the night and also did not feel safe. There was no temperature control in the humidity of Venice which made it really difficult to sleep well. "I booked the Easy Downtown Inn and only when I arrived did the host tell me that the place was not available and took me to another accomodation that I would have never booked on my own. No discount was given for the inconvenience and I had to share the area with another family which I did not intend to do."
