"Pleasant hotel with large rooms and comfortable bed.
Was looking forward to using the spa facilities however was surprised that an extra charge would be incurred.
Evening meal was tasty with plenty of choices "
"Staff really polite and friendly, my partner had to mend the shower head to get a proper shower, the carpets was in a stained condition but the bedding was very clean and so was the shower room, for the price if the accommodation it was great for the overnight stay "
"The owners were very helpful and couteous. Unfortunately, the loud shouting and swearing and car revving right outside my window up to 3:30 am was quite frightening. "

"The rooms are basic but for short stays ideal and for the price a bargain, (from a woman’s point of view they could do with a shelf other than the one beside the bed to put toiletries on in the bedroom and one in the shower cubicle) The rooms are clean and have tv, safe and tea/coffee making facilities. The price of the room included breakfast which was amazing, choice of full English (including black pudding for those who don’t think a full English is a full English without it ) continental or cereals with as much tea/coffee/juice as you can drink. We will definitely stay again! "
"The Old Rose and Crown is in a quiet location on the edge of the Lickey Hills surrounded by grass and trees. It is easy to reach from the M5.
The room was well set out with comfortable bed, sofa and chairs, and en suite.
The only downside was that no food is provided on site but there are a couple of pub / restaurants within 10 mins walk of the hotel. If you need to drive into the city centre from the hotel at peak times this will take about an hour.
Thank you for a lovely couple of days....highly recommended. 👍"
