A fabulous stay

Stayed for one night and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. A warm welcome, excellent room and facilities, fabulous breakfast, and I even got to play with the dogs, a couple of red Welsh collies, after breakfast. All staff were so welcoming and helpful.

Nice little surprise

Room was lovely, comfortable and adequate for my needs. Food, although limited was good. Sandwiches and chips available. Didn’t have breakfast as served too late for my needs. Staff friendly. Would stay again.

Twenty-plus real ales, friendly, knowledgable manager. Historic tiling was amazing. No evening meal, but a super huge breakfast. A convenient stop on the way north.

Another great stay

We always enjoy staying here, the rooms are so clean and comfortable and the staff very friendly. It was a Sunday so we got to enjoy an amazing Sunday roast which was delicious and a great size. The place was buzzing, great atmosphere in this well supported venue!

Lovely old pub right opposite the railway station which made getting there by train a breeze. The biggest breakfast I’ve have ever been served!! Lovely, friendly staff

Very nice room, spacious, clean, well appointed. The staff were fantastic. So friendly and so accommodating. The location is excellent. Close to the train station and an easy walk into Stourbridge. Honestly it would have been perfect if the bed was a little bigger, but even so, it was so comfortable that we barely noticed.

Great traditional pub in a suburban area ( visit to relative) wonderful publican and staff. Parking was very tight. Stayed in the room frequented by British rock stars Robert Plant and Christie McVie, which was a nice. Despite being next to rail station we heard nothing. Fabulous’full English’ breakfast - try it !! No elevator - quite a number of stairs.

The young lady who checked us into the hotel was a real credit to seven stars. Efficient, friendly lovely welcome. Hotel was very clean. Breakfast was huge, even my husband couldn’t manage it all. We have stayed in a very expensive hotel that way and we preferred seven stars Would definitely recommend
