"We've just returned from fantastic break in Portobello. I've holidayed in Edinburgh a number of times but this was the first time in Portobello and we would definitely return (and return to this great pad too!) The area was trendy, cool with lots of great places to eat and drink, topped off with an amazing, beautiful beach. The beach, whilst dog-friendly , was perfectly clean and well maintained. Patricks pad also provided a great place to venture a little further out and explore the wider...

"Excellent location, close to a park with a great coffee shop. Short walk to other amenities such as the supermarket and town centre Only minor gripe is that we could really have done with a couple of extra pillows but we borrowed some off a family member who lives locally "

"Absolutely beautiful stay. The lodge itself was gorgeous, in a great setting and the views are spectacular. Quiet and peaceful, no disturbance whatsoever. The surroundings are just spectacular. We mentioned it was our little minimoon and they very kindly left us some chocolates and a bottle of fizz. Amazing stay exactly what we needed. Wish we could have stayed longer xxxx"

"Apartment was just as advertised, was clean and comfortable, and located in a nice, quiet neighbourhood with easy access (~12 min drive) to EDI. Owner was responsive and very kind. My husband left an item behind, and the owner was quick to let us know it had been found and arrange to get it back to us. Would definitely recommend this apartment."

"The house was perfect for our family very well equiped, plenty of space inside to spread out, bedrooms and bathrooms as required by us all. Lovely wee village and lots to do and see in the area. Enclosed garden for dogs and fantastic conservatory with dining space. Owner left us eggs from her own hens and easter chocolates. Would highly recommend, thank you."

"Perfect location (no tourist, walk to anything one wants). Perfect house, four floors for family and friends to spread out across. For queer folk, super nice queer-bar 15-minute walk away (seriously friendly and welcomining). Host was amazing (responding in minutes or hours to every question or request). Exceeded every possible expectation. Will come back to this house/host on our next visit. And if not available on the dates we ask.... we're so keen, that we'll just change our travel dates so...

"Situated in a small village but very accessible by bus to all surrounding costal towns in the East Neuk of Fife. A cozy wee cottage with a private garden and dog friendly. All the residents are very friendly too. My only concern that is totally outwith the hosts control is the door opens to a narrow pavement where the village speed limit is 20 mph - that no-one adheres to!"
