"Stopped here from Heathrow before traveling on to more family, we stayed 2 nights and meet family and friends. Food and service were good, the animals was a bonus, the sensory area with the TV was our hang out with the kids."

"As a single woman travelling alone, I rarely feel unsafe in a hotel, but unfortunately at this hotel I did and I never leave negative reviews. Upon arriving the reception area had a few Eastern European men ‘mooching’ about, there was nobody on reception to greet me, but knowing this is a check in remotely hotel that was fine, had it not been for the men hanging around the area. My room although clean had a horrible smell and the balcony door was unlocked. I had a terrible nights sleep, not just because the bed is so hard, but I woke at every noise thinking someone was entering the room. At 4:45am there was a few knocks on my door - I don’t know if this was a room mistake, but just added to my concern. There wasn’t any mention of having to pay for parking onsite, so was annoyed at having to pay £10 to park overnight- especially when in the morning I could see I could have parked outside the hotel for free. I have since read that this hotel is/was housing asylum seekers, so if you’re a lone woman travelling alone; I would avoid - equally if you don’t want to sleep on a rock hard bed avoid. "

"Great location for what I needed doing. Adequate parking facilities. Shops for essential needs relatively close by and walkable distance to railway station for trains to London. Cleanliness was not as good as my previous overnight stay. Mirror missing in room and defective spot light. Bed a bit squeaky. The room was very spacious but I thought I could have been allocated a nicer one for a five night stay. The staff was polite and courteous enough. The breakfast on the go was slightly disappointing. "

"I messaged them early on the day of checkin to advise i would be late. Upon arriving they could not find my reservation and kept me waiting with no resolution at 2.30am just wanting to go to sleep I had to contact 24 hour guest support for them to find the reservation and eventually check me into my room but blame was placed on me by customer support saying that they couldn't guarantee a message was received as i booked through hotels.com and not them. I stopped in a motorway service to ensure I wasn't driving tired and then got blamed for their rubbish systems. Pretty disgusted"
