"We have stayed at Moxy in Plymouth previously so knew what to expect this time. The Hotel was clean and the staff welcoming on arrival. The usual welcome cocktail offered and gratefully received after our journey. We were also even given a choice of room which was nice. The room was as expected, clean and comfortable and had everything you needed. The first morning was relatively quiet at breakfast, plenty of everything and regular replacements when anything got low. A very satisfying spread setting us up for the day. The second morning was quite different though. There seemed to be a few larger groups and when we came down to breakfast there was massive gaps in the offering with little sign of items being replaced even though there was still an hour and a half of breakfast left. There was also lots of dirty plates and cups etc piled everywhere. There just didn’t seem to be enough staff to cope but the one or two that were there did their best. This wouldn’t put me off but it was a little disappointing."
