"We were met with a warm welcome from Naz at the Front Desk. We were also able to get an early check-in. Rooms were clean. Our tub got clogged but maintenance was swift and fixed our issue immediately. We went to Lego land which was only 3 mins away. The Karl Strauss Restaurant was within walking distance and food was great. Definitely recommend and will be back."

"Vanessa made our stay amazing! Her customer service was above and beyond what we expected! It’s a very short walk to Legoland which was great with little kiddos. The only issue was the sliding door for the bathroom made an absolutely horrid noise when opened or shut, which is super inconvenient with little ones sleeping at night. Otherwise, the room was fantastic and everyone enjoyed the amount of space. The pools were also amazing. One is specifically for families and children, which we took advantage of during the day. At night the wife and I could enjoy the quiet pool in peace while enjoying a drink. Overall great experience. Will stay there again for the next Legoland trip."

"From the first moment we got to the property we agreed it with a smile and kindness and the excellent customer service skills that their crew had throughout the whole weekend was amazing! From checking in to checking out, there was a moment that we were not graded with a smile and asked if we needed anything. The property is absolutely beautiful and the rooms were top-notch! You did not feel crammed in them! The property and pool is beautiful and you have a beautiful view that ocean as you’re sitting by the fire pit and from a lot of of the rooms! I highly recommend this property as I believe you will enjoy your experience here. This is by far one of our favorite places to stay due to our experience this weekend."

"Very easy and quick check in. Parking limited first come first serve type thing , no parking on the street. Didn’t use the pool but looked accessible and clean. Room was as good as a motel 6 room can get working tv which is a plus. No complimentary soaps ? And to get them from snack/store center $6!!! For a very very tiny bottle Other then very minimal things pleasant stay decent area would definitely stay here again. "

"The staff was very kind and helpful but Motel 6/Studio 6 Carlsbad is not maintaining the property. Beds and pillows were uncomfortable, very old and lumpy. AC/Heater, some lights, phone, clock and TV didn't work. Pool hasn't worked for over 1 year. Kitchenette had no frying pan or spatula, also lacked the correct amount of dishes, cups, silverware and basic cooking supplies. The bathroom sink backed up and flooded the room, the water leaked to first level. All of the furniture was severely damaged and dirty, dead cockroaches and live ones were present. The sheets and duvet were thread barren and had holes. They ran out of blankets so we slept using our beach towels from home because we were cold. The following had to be requested and weren't in the room: paper towels, dish soap, sponge, Kleenex, shampoo and conditioner. Picture missing from room only the screws were left. Toilets don't flush well. They didn't sell snacks, water bottles or soda. Other guests stopped me in the hall, elevator, and parking lot to ask me how our room was and then shared the horrors of their rooms. Women talk!!!!!!!!!!!! The manager refunded $48 back to Expedia for us for the inconvenience and moved us to another room that wasn't flooded but it was as run down as the first room. LOCATION WAS PERFECT FOR LEGOLAND!!! But will never go to this hotel again. What a lost opportunity for the company.....diamond in the rough. "
