"The staff exhibited unprofessional behavior and appeared disinterested in accommodating tourists. While the scenic view was commendable, the room’s amenities did not justify the high price. The shower was compact, and the room lacked adequate ventilation. Despite utilizing the washer and dryer settings for over two hours, the clothes remained damp."

"Our room was nice - above average size for a Tokyo hotel for the price, and well cleaned and maintained with a great view. The staff were helpful and spoke great English. It takes a bit of time to get in and out with a lift to floor 8 - the lobby - followed by a second, separate lift to the guest floors. Room service and drinks are so expensive so as to be not worth considering - 1800 yen for a Godzilla themed soda or 3300 yen for a dessert, for example. It's also in the middle of Kabukicho, so the surrounding streets aren't particularly nice to walk around most times of the day, and the city noise still makes its way into your room all night. None of these are deal-breakers - it's still a decent stay - but not mind blowing."

"Very old and outdated huge hotel with broken computer systems (because the hotel is huge with thousands of people living here and large tour groups, it heavily dependent on self help systems every step of the way, yet these digital systems aren't the easiest to use even for young people, let along older foreigners. For example, the self check-in monitor has an alignment miscalibration where it would click what's above your finger; the luggage system has a bug where if you're trying to type foreign phone number into the Japanese phone the rest of the system would stop responding altogether, etc) The elevators are smelly of old cigarettes smell. The restaurants serve what might be considered high-end food 20yrs ago. Generally not cost effective."
