"Very nice room! Very clean and modern looking. We were happy with the staff as they were very friendly and helpful. Close to good restaurants and train station. "
"I reserved a room for one and got a clean, compact room intended for a solo traveler. Ideal for one, it was comfortable and quiet. With an efficient bathroom reminiscent of something from a cruise ship. Has every amenity I needed for a one night stay in Kyoto. Excellent value. "
"Perfect location, room was spotless, staff was awesome and so accommodating. The room had everything I needed. Great overall experience and would stay there again! "
"This hotel was amazing for me and my Fiance. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by the front desk staff. They walked us over to the lobby area and gave us tea while they checked us in and took my payment information. Once that was settled we were excited to know they offered sake and snacks every day until 7PM and coffee/italian soda until 11PM. This saved us so much on spending money for drinks.
They also had a drawer of amenities including toothbrushes, razors, comb, lotion and more. We had our luggage forwarded to the hotel and it was waiting for us in our room. The hotel has 5 floors. We got a room in the 2nd floor and were given 2209. It was directly behind the elevator but did not bother us as you can’t hear anything just the occasional draft wind noise it makes when it’s going up.
The room was spacious. I got the signature twin and it was more than enough space for 2 people.
I really loved the living space area. It had a full futon perfect for resting after a long day of exploring. The beds were really comfortable not too firm or soft. The bathroom was separate from the shower/sink area. The sink counter had 2 separate sinks perfect for a couple. Plenty of counter space. The washer/dryer in the room was also really easy to use and so convenient. Overall this place was great and perfect for our 6 night stay. The Karasuma line is super close by which is perfect for exploring the city. Also there is a 7-11 down the street. Don’t hesitate to book a room!!!"
"This was our second time visiting this Ace Hotel location and once again, it did not disappoint! Very clean, stylish, and easy to find. It feels exclusive without the pretentious airs. I hope to come back very soon!"
