"Other guests were noisy. Rooms were not well insulated from Ballantine and people arguing in the room next door at 2am. Bed was hard and there was no comfortable chair to sit in so only desk chair or bed. Lifts were slow and often overcrowded. Pool was closed. Area around hotel was good but late at night there were “working girls” about so I felt unsafe late at night but during evening and day it is very safe."

"The hotel location it’s a bit away from the next MTR station. There is a shuttle which runs between the MTR station and the Hotel which start only at 10:00am and run until 19:00. Outside these times you need to walk or take a taxi to Kai Tai metro station. They put me in a disable room which was not nice, I had to ask for a room change next morning. Amenities in the room are very good, I loved the Elemis amenities in the bathroom (Shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion). There is a glass water bottom in the room which can be used for free, they have water stations in each floor. The “Detox” drinks at the reception are quite nice. Breakfast was very good, many Chinese food options, but also intercontinental. There is an egg station but they only start it at 08:30am which is a bummer. On my last day the breakfast room was freezing!! Staff was not very helpful when I asked for some help in packing an item to send via post, id expect them to be more helpful as this is a 5 star hotel. The rooftop pool is super nice, but closes at 7pm. So I didn’t get the charge to try it. Just went up to have a look after 7pm, there was not even lights on. I believe this is because they don’t want pool guests to mix with bar guests as they are beside each other. The bar looked lovely for an evening drink and nice views from the rooftop."

"Quick check in and check out. Hotel cleaning staff was great; we were about to head out for the day, she was cleaning the room next to us. We asked that she replace the towels only, she came into our room and spent a few extra minutes and cleaned the entire washroom."
