The garden is absolutely divine, especially with the beautiful music playing in the background—it creates a magical atmosphere. "Lovely property! Starting with the best part - location! Walkable to the entire Main St area of restaurants and shops. And we walked to Johnson’s Beach which I really appreciated after seeing the line of cars trying to park!
Quiet and updated rooms, good AC, easy parking. The pool was relaxing and I loved having a deck facing the valley, beautiful scene for morning coffee! "

"We had an awesome stay at this wonderful home. The pictures don’t do it justice. Spacious relaxing interior, great decor inside and out, luxury quality mattresses in all bedrooms, jetted tub in master bath as well as outdoor hot tub (complete with robes), nearby private beach, all the beach gear you could ask for and so much more, including a washer and dryer. Very quiet area tucked into the redwoods and felt very private yet only a mile from Guerneville. Fully equipped kitchen and coffee/tea bar. Host was very welcoming and responsive. Great that they also have an EV charger. Our party consisted of 4 adults, but they have everything to make this a great family getaway. We really hated to leave, but I’m sure we’ll return again. "

"My son and I had a great time staying here. Staff was nice and helpful. The tents are a good size, clean, and beds are comfortable with heated blankets. Nice big clean pool. It was nice to have our own fire pit to roast S’mores. Some other reviews I read were saying the bathrooms were bad but I really didn’t think so. This property is beautiful and we will definitely be back again. "
"We really enjoyed our stay in one of the cabins at Highlands resort. It was at the tail end of a long road trip and it was probably our favorite stay of the entire trip.
The overall setup is just enough for city slickers like us to feel like we're a tad off the beaten path without sacrificing any creature comforts. You basically get all of the amenities of a hotel room in a setting that seems to encourage you to disconnect and unplug. It's super quiet and the fresh air is conducive to a good night's sleep. At the same time, the location is walking distance to the main Guerneville strip and a straight shot from the Armstrong Redwoods Nature preserve - basically the ideal location for staying in Russian River.
No complaints with any of the small stuff, either - getting in and out is easy, breakfast is great and fit for purpose, and the staff is friendly and helpful. "
