"Cabin was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for our 4 day weekend retreat. We were able to cook breakfast every day, couldn’t find a pan for the eggs but with just a text message and a few minutes, the front desk staff knocked and handed us the pan! Also beautiful pool with great redwood tree scenery. Close 8 minute drive to Guerneville to buy groceries, go to all the shops, and even spend a day at the river beach! Loved it and would def return!"

"This is a charming old-world experience in a well-maintained hotel set in the redwoods beside the Russian River. Rooms are smalll, but clean and comfortable. We had a balcony overlooking the river, which we enjoyed. The staff was helpful and friendly. The owner is obviously very proud of his establishment and dedicated to making it a good experience for his patrons. The breakfast is ample. The attached restaurant provides a German cuisine."

"Great property, give it a 4.5. Location is amazing and the grounds are beautiful, lots of chairs, blankets, fire rings, nooks. Right on the river with its own dock. Staff and manager are super welcoming and friendly (with the exception of one). Breakfast is continental style--coffee, tea, milk, juice, fruit, bread, muffin, cereal, yogurt. It might be nice if it started earlier than 9 am for those of us getting an early start on the day. Room was small as others have said but quite enough, bath was good, bed comfy. Only reason for 4.5 not a 5 was that I did expect daily towel service for the price. Great stay and I would definitely book again!"

"Grandma's House is a terrific house with a layout that allows older kids or families separate private spaces (hello bathroom in each bedroom) with nice shared spaces for hanging out. Steve was a great communicator and super kind to come over and unlock a door we mistakenly locked. We will be back!"

"This cozy 2 bedroom central to Monte Rio was everything described by the host. There was only two of us for this trip yet see it as roomy enough for a family stay. It was warm, inviting. Comfortable in amenities well stocked kitchen with all you would need for any type of meal. The Master Bedroom offers a seating area for reading and a nice warm cup of coffee. Directly across from this master is the really well-done bathroom / shower.This home is short walking distance to the river, in which we enjoyed often during our stay. This vacation stay was all we hoped for and desire many opportunities to revisit in the future."

"Beautiful and well equipped property! A great getaway stay for the Monte Rio area. A bit tricky to drive in and out of, but nothing some care and practice can't get you through. Owner was incredibly timely and communicative as well. Will rebook for a future stay!"

"Great stay on the Russian River! Perfect for our family of four. Especially love the porch with a view, access to the two kayaks, and the very lovely garden. If you love spending time in the river, this is a great spot. Things that are good to know: The only bathroom is between the bedrooms (not an issue for us but just good to know), beds are more on soft side than firm, sofa bed was quite comfortable for my teenage son (he is 6' tall). We would love to stay here again."
