"BIG fan of this property -- mostly because of the people. While a bit dated, that's part of the charm and the staff was some of the friendliest I've experienced. Super helpful, super accommodating, and super friendly. A short, mostly pretty walk to "downtown" made it easy to not have to drive a lot and outside of losing power (not in their control), it was a great, relaxing stay! Can't wait to come back and try their dining options (and sadly skipped breakfast, too much to do!)."
"This was such an amazing property! You could tell that every little detail was well thought out, and it was perfect for rest and relaxation. I would definitely come back and I can see how people rent out the entire place for events!"
"Lots to do in area. The only thing I didn’t really like was that you have to leave the property to get coffee in the mornings. Being considered as a resort, you would think you would have had that on the property "
"We found this spot on a whim and it turned into a mystical hideaway that was absolutely stunning!!! I can’t wait to come back again!!! The owner and staff are wonderful, rooms very clean, property was very convenient!!!"

Vintage Cabin with enclosed yard, well stocked Kitchen, Spa and Huge Sunny Deck.
10/10 Excellent
"Very nice place, nice location, easy walk to the river, everything worked, kitchen was well supplied, beds were comfortable, the house overall was very comfortable. Only a couple of minor issues, one of the electrical sockets had fallen out of the wall and a couple of the fans felt kind of flimsy. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and were glad we chose this house. "

Lovely Russian River Bungalow-2BR 1 BA New Remodel
10/10 Excellent
"Darling small bungalow style home that was nicely decorated and comfortable. Bonus outdoor patio that we really enjoyed. Good location. Road to home had some twist and turns. Just be cautious and drive slowly. Definitely recommend! We loved our stay here."
~ Landmark 1857 Farmhouse ~ Hot Tub ~ across from Sunset Beach ~ Pet Friendly ~
10/10 Excellent
"We loved our stay at Petunia's Place. The house comfortably held our 3 generations. We loved the porches and decks and how seemlessly one could go from indoors to outdoors. We cooked all our meals and the kitchen was well-equipped. The kids loved the hot tub, and we loved the proximity to Sunset beach. It was a wonderful place for our very special gathering. "
"We arrived in the early evening. The drive in was pleasant and scenic and then that turn onto Canyon road transports you to another level of quiet. Once we got in we were immediately charmed by the cozy intimate layout of the home and while decompressing from the drive on the big wonderful purple couch all we could do was admire where we were and just how perfect this little oasis was for what we needed. The home is welcoming, comfortable and has anything you might need to get away from the monotony and noise of everyday life. The garden outside is lovely and perfect to enjoy coffee or tea in the morning and just sit with your thoughts as the sun breaks through the surrounding redwoods. Five minutes to quaint little Guerneville where I surprisingly had one of the best burgers I’ve ever had, followed up the next day by the best fried chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. Fifteen minutes to Forestville where we enjoyed some of the best gluten free pizza we’ve ever had at a restaurant that used to be a service station but is now the centerpiece of a town doing things exactly how they want to do them. Can’t forget good old Russian River. Johnson’s beach was exactly what the doctor ordered. The water was perfect. We were there all day cooling off and taking in some great sun. Don’t forget your creek shoes. Thank you Rachel I don’t usually put in much time reviewing rentals I’ve used in the past, but this time I felt compelled to convey our experience in hopes of promoting"
