"My husband and I stayed in Split for two nights. The apartment was very clean and well stocked! Frane had water both sparkling and distilled, cookies, oranges, and bananas for us. It is conveniently located to the palace. It was just a few minutes walk. Frane Meadows early to allow us to put our luggage inside the apartment so we didn't have to carry it around all day. The apartment was a 3 minute downhill walk to the most spectacular downtown, waterfront town I have ever seen. The apartment was clean, net, and well kept and wonderfully remodeled. It was perfect for our short stay."

"Great place to stay in Split. Near Supermarkets, bars and restaurants. Area has a very “local” feel with prices for food and drink in the area being much cheaper than in the old town. Facilities were lovely with plenty of room for our stay. Communication with Sandra was excellent, she was there to meet us and very helpful with advice and tips and a complimentary bottle of wine. "There was a mix up with this property. They don’t take Credit Cards, only cash. The proprietor was very kind and accommodating and made an exception. The unit was on the 4th and 5th floor, no elevator which is typical for this area. Nonetheless, it was a long hike with our luggage. There were several things in the unit that were either not working or needed repair. They took care of them quickly. I also found dust bunnies on the floor in the corners and some mildew in the shower. The floor plan...

The only draw back for me was having to carry my luggage up all the stairs. Not a big problem as I was travelling relatively light and only had to tote it up and down once."
