"We had an amazing stay! The apartment was comfortable and within walking distance to all kinds of great restaurants, grocery and metro. Staff were super kind and accommodating to us. Will definitely be staying here again. Thank you for a great stay!"

"The size of our room and kitchen amenity was amazing. Rooftop pool was the highlight of our stay, gorgeous views of the city, heated, clean and well maintained pool and towels. This hotel is situated close to everything: dining, shops, the metro and museums. A hidden gem - we would stay here again"
"I stayed at Pensione Popolo for multiple weeks on a work trip and Tammy the manager was super accommodating, available for questions and making sure the stay is going smoothly and comfortably. Amazing location right in the iconic Mile End, close to metros, bus lines and walking distance to different neighbourhoods, parks and food. Crisp A/C, fast wifi and multiple shared showers/bathrooms. Even with the communal aspect there is a lot of privacy and all of the other guests I met seemed happy and polite!
The negative reviews are confusing to me as if you read the booking it clearly states what amenities are present in the space. Yes you are on one of the main arteries of Montreal - sounds of city come with it! There is a shared fridge and kettle. Even with my long term stay I made it work just fine. Truly an affordable, well located place to stay after exploring Montreal all day! I would definitely book in here again."
"Great neighborhood with lots of nice restaurants and interesting people the beds were comfortable and the ac was cool our apartment was on the third floor so there were stairs but after all the food and drinks we needed the work out also highly recommend the Mexican restaurant right next door "
"Horrible communication. Hung up on me in the middle of me telling him what apartment I was there to get the code for. Tried calling them back, no answer. Finally get a message back 20 minutes later and I get told I can not stay in the apartment tonight. I had it booked over a week in advance. They told me somwone was already there. Trying to get my money back. Please save yourself a headache and find another place. I saw the poor review for communication and did the typical, well that wont happen to me. Well it did. "
