"Very convenient located nearby metro station. Also nice little restaurants in area. For marathoners. Very easy to go to start and also close by enough to even walk from finish to the hotel. (Or take 2 stops) in any case great to do a shakeout run from hotel ..then to imperial palace rounds and back about 7km. Sport shops are all nearby. Staff extremely friendly. Room is nice, clean and Japan ryokan touch. Making reservation for a taxi is however ¥1000 . Which should be service. The relaxing room was occupied by other guests way too long. They should make it a time slot of 2 sessions. Tea ceremony was just a nice touch. There is no ATM at hotel and also no wine available in vending machine. The beer option was ok. Breakfast buffet is very complete and tasteful. Expensive (about $24) in comparison with what eating out cost. Overall excellent hotel experience. Definitely recommend "

"Excellent hotel. Very high end and comfortable. I loved the kitchen. But I’m uncomfortable with high end computerized appliances. I did not like the bathtub and shower with a window. How wants to be seen while taking a shower. Our safe didn’t work, while we were there. Although I called the front desk and reserved a swim time. We were rudely interrupted by a man claiming that he had made a reservation for that time. His was on the books and ours wasn’t. A clear error on the part of someone. I didn’t not like the hotel lobby being on the 22nd floor. Very quiet, but very removed. The Ascot is for a special clientele. I would have loved it more if the lobby was on the first floor. The pool was amazing. I’ve never seen a pool room so exquisite. The fitness center was equally amazing. "

"Great location, ask the staff for location to nearby laundromat - big machines, fast wash and dry. Convenience stores are all around, 2 right next to it. Station is 5 min walk away. Generally quiet rooms, but you might hear people above you slamming doors or kids jumping. It's a business hotel for locals I believe. Room was clean and housekeeping did well. Stayed longer than most, 16 days and had a nice experience for the price."
