Liked: Staff & service, amenities
Room is not my style. Generally it’s clean. But since it has industrial style roof, you can see some dust at the pipe or structure of roof. Staffs are all friendly.
Perfect place for us in Tokyo! Very cool concept, art and staff. It’s in a nice quiet neighborhood which was nice to retreat to after the craziness of other neighborhoods. Centrally located to explore different areas of Tokyo via metro.

This hotel was so unique and special! From the cool artsy lobby with live music and local art for sale, to the unique room design, I would come stay at this or ANY BnA art hotel!!!
A unique and very pleasant stay. The art (both the rooms and the changing installations) create a wonderful atmosphere! The neighborhood is quiet in the evenings with lots of nice places within walking distance. I'll be staying here whenever I am in Tokyo.
Loved the idea of how each room was created by individual artists. I chose the “an urban nest” which was really nice! The staff were very kind and also explained the story behind the design of my room. Rooms were really cleaned and Amenities were easy to get by the reception. I would definitely come here and again the next time im in japan!
We stayed here for the Genkan event (hosted by Waifu) and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We appreciate that the property is promoting and supporting local LGBTQ groups. All staff we worked with were extremely helpful and friendly. We loved our unique room.
Small boutique hotel on a quiet street, all necessary amenities available and an amazing staff! Ask for Naoto’s city advices over a cocktail, and follow through any food recommendation's, it will be amongst your trip favorite memories!
Check-in was quick and friendly and we appreciated the welcome mocktail, especially after such a long flight. The hotel was in a quiet neighbourhood and had many dining options, though we found lots of them had line-ups of near an hour, which made it hard to find a simple quality meal right away. While we were moving on after one night, the hotel was quiet and spacious enough for two friends. The hotel design was also very cool!

Disliked: Cleanliness
Interest arty decor, minimal service. Close to several metro station and lots of dining option nearby. Room size was small though.
I loved the art and how clean the rooms were. Additionally, these rooms are a lot larger than the typical rooms you see in hotels around Tokyo. Bathroom and showers had a lot more space. Loved our stay, wished we could’ve stayed here longer
When I booked this stay I thought it would be neat but I didn't expect it to be as cool as it was. The room was nice and the amenities were state of the art. We were there on a Friday so we enjoyed a drink and some live music at the bar on the first floor.
This was such a cool experience. We only stayed one night at the tail end of our stay but it was really nice. The hotel is cool and the Dam room had enough space to fit our luggage. The reception/bar area was a really nice place to hang out and have some drinks.
It wasn’t crazy close to much but it was close to a kombini and the bus stop.
This was our first stay in Japan, and overall it was good! The staff is very kind and attentive, plus there is an incredible soba noodle restaurant right next door. That said, our room did not have the most comfortable bed as it had a decently large dip in the middle making it relatively uneven. Other than that, everything else was great about the place.
A wonderful, unique property full of art that’s well connected into Tokyo. It’s situated in a nice quiet neighborhood that is a nice base to come back to.
The rooms, as in Tokyo, are small but modern and have the basics. It’s base to explore, not a property to lounge in. If you want a lobby bar this isn’t the place.
The beds are so-so, but the property is an incredible value for money.
I usually never write reviews, but this property blew me away. I stayed in the play room with twin beds for 1 night, and both the room itself as well as the hotel exceeded all my expectations. Not only is the space stylish and creatively charged, it is extremely clean and new. The bathroom amenities are also top notch, the bath products offered both smell and work amazingly. Needless to say, the hotel staff is beyond friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend supporting this local business and the art community it is connected with!
We chose this hotel for its prime location, being just one subway stop away from Tokyo Station—a perfect choice for the night before catching the Shinkansen. The convenience can't be overstated, especially when you're planning a seamless start to your travel day.
The hotel itself has a really cool concept and design language that stood out. Every detail felt thoughtfully curated, making the atmosphere modern and welcoming. The bathroom was one of the better ones we've experienced—spacious, clean, and equipped with all the essentials. It's clear that a lot of attention went into making guests feel comfortable.
Overall, it was a fantastic stay with an excellent mix of convenience and style. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to stay close to Tokyo Station!
Favourite hotel experience in Japan. Staff were so friendly and took time to talk about the hotel ethos and room set up over a free drink at check-in. The room (501 - Newtopia Tokyo) was amazing. Good size, great shower room and the decor was stunning.Room safe was useful. QR code takes you to a youtube page where u meet the designers talking about the room design. Had breakfast once (bacon/egg on toast) with orange juice which was v tasty and good value. Location is close to Kodemmachō Station on the Hibiya Line and close to numerous convenience stores. Tried nearby Omnipollo Beer Hall which is worth a visit. Returned for my last night in Tokyo following a trip to Kyoto and will def return on next trip to Tokyo.
