"We wanted a night away, last second and found The Charles. We stayed in room 100,little private cottage and it was exactly what we wanted. Well decorated,clean,quiet, private,centrally located.....Breakfast was delicious and the host was wonderful! Only suggestion I have is get a maintenance guy in there to tighten the faucets. We would definitely come back next time we're in town."

"Do NOT book this “hotel”. It is not a hotel. It is a very old house very tiny rooms, hardly big enough for a bed to fit. When I asked for a larger room, I was told that because I booked through Expedia, there was nothing that could be done. The room is only big enough for a bed. It is tiny. It is not a room, it is a closet. The only place for luggage was on the bed! I felt completely deceived by this place, and they would not accommodate me in any way…not a larger room, not a refund. We could not stay, and immediately left. Don’t waste your time with this place."
