If you are into turn down service, mints on your pillow and towels twisted into animal shapes, this is not your place to stay. But if you like a laid back atmosphere with people who treat you like family this is it. I shared a room with 5 college age kids, (I'm 67) was invited to dine with a large group of tourists from Italy, and made friends."

"The Renaissance staff were so kind to us on both our stays, working to get us a room a bit earlier than anticipated. The food at the hotel is wonderful, although a bit pricier than what many Americans expect. The fish and chips were great, with the fish being a HUGE portion. The breakfast buffet is great with an amazing assortment of food choices. The room was comfortable, quiet, and clean. Our only difficulty with the room was getting into and out of the bath. The tub is a true soaker tub so is very deep with high sides. Hard for older, short folks! 😂"
