I had an issue with a "non specified room" option which was offered by Expedia. The hotel reception offered me a smoking room although I specified a non smoking in my booking. For having a non smoking they tried to charge me additional 70% of the booked room rate. After long disputes the reception desk head agreed with my arguments and I got a non smoking room but I spent time and my first impression about the hotel was mixed up.

This was our 3rd time staying in Sam’s Town. The staff is always nice and the rooms are clean. The area around it has gone down. But the hotel itself is nice. They have restaurants inside and a nightly water and light show

We loved the room, the view, and the proximity to different neighborhoods. They do try to have you sit for a timeshare presentation right as you check in. Everything else was awesome and we would recommend staying here.
