The Sands is a super fun, beautifully renovated retro motel. Our room was spotless, spacious, and comfortable, the AC worked great, and the retro mini-fridge was a fun touch. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The location made it easy to walk around Boulder City and try the local restaurants and bars, and we even got to enjoy the art festival on Sunday. It was a great experience at a decent price, and we'd happily stay again.

Small rooms, but very cozy. Nothing fancy, but everything you need: apartment-sized refrigerator with a freezer, microwave, lots of plugs on both sides of the bed, roomy shower, and a comfortable bed. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. I’ve stayed here a couple of times and will come back.
