"This hotel was a 5 minute walk from Hakodate station and right on the doorstep of the morning market. The Red Brick Warehouses were a 5 - 10 minute walk from the hotel and lots of transport options nearby to get around Hakodate. The room we had, with an onsen bath, was very big. The room itself was extremely quiet, having a door between the room and entrance area probably helped with the noise reduction. The beds were extremely comfy and the pillows were not hard, in fact quite soft. We had our own kitchenette and a nice seating area as well. It had a washer/dryer next to the bathroom, separated to the main room by a sliding door - which again helped with noise reduction. The best part of this room was the onsen bath and its sea views! We loved having a bath in the morning and evening when we stayed here, it made the stay even more wonderful. We used the bar the one night, it was quiet and had amazing views over the city. We would happily stay here again and recommend this hotel to everyone!"

"One of the better hotels we have stayed at. The breakfast buffet was huge and the selection of local fish and vegetables was terrific. Room was relatively large by Japan standards and very comfortable. The important question is would we stay there again. ABSOLUTELY! "

"函館空港からバスで30分ですが、バスの便が少ないです。ホテルの目の前に深夜まで営業しているドンキとスーパーがあります。朝食を食べれるようなカフェやお店はありません。お部屋は1人には十分な大きさです。部屋の壁は少し薄く、騒音が気になることもあります。"

"Hotel’s buffet is good. But if you are staying for more than 1 night, you might not want to pay for half board as the spread for breakfast and dinner doesn’t change. Otherwise, hotel is clean and comfortable. You need a car to move around though as it is not close to town centre."
