"Nice seaside view, but there is some traffic noise, wind and later afternoon sun to deal with (some shutters were broken). The blinds in the second room are broken and offer not privacy from the passage right outside the window. Otherwise the place was well-appointed and communication good. Ignore the hotel.com info that you can only check in at 9pm."

"After a few days in Capetown, we wanted to take advantage of the close proximity of the Stellenbosch wine area. We booked rather late, but were lucky to find Dieu Donne Boutique Guest hotel and were very happy with our stay there. We had an excellent two bedroom/two bathroom, self service apartment. The rooms are equipped and well maintained, very comfortable beds and a great attention to details. Both Michelle and Andrew were very welcoming and went the extra mile to ensure a comfortable stay....

"Excellent apartment. Situation overlooking the sea, very convenient for shops and restaurants. Staff super helpful and friendly. Private parking. Apartment was lovely and clean with all amenities required. Tastefully furnished, ample towels and toiletries. Only slight issue was the gate to the parking lot not closing but was assured this would be fixed. Would certainly recommend for a Hermanus stay. "

"My husband and I stayed for 3 nights at Coopmanhuijs while in Stellenbosch. It was fantastic! The staff was super friendly and acommodating. The restaurant was outstanding. Our reservation included breakfast and we were able to order off of a menu and/or opt for the generous buffet. We also ate dinner at the restuarant and it was beyond delicious. (Springbok carpaccio!) We don't usually relax in common hotel spaces, but everyone was so welcoming that we did spend some time in the lounge by the fire. We met some other guests who were super interesting, and I felt like I learned a lot about South Africa culture as well. Thank you for a lovely stay!"

"We are a family of four who had an 8 night stay at the Krystal Beach Hotel which we consider to be a five star rating (for a four star hotel). Excellent location with fantastic views over Gordon's Bay. Many great aspects to the hotel to support the five star rating including: the family room was very spacious for the four of us, comfortable bedding for excellent nights sleep, daily cleaning/maid service, friendly staff, healthy and filling daily breakfast, good range of meals and drink at competitive prices prices served in the restaurant, access to a gym and many other positive aspects"
