"The Old Waukivory School House was such a delight - lots of character, spotlessly clean and very thoughtfully provisioned and appointed. In an age when many hosts don't even bother to leave you with tea or coffee or oil and spices, Katherine has gone out of her way to provide you with everything you could want for your weekend stay - fresh eggs, bread, butter, milk, juice, chocolate, snacks, the list goes on! The house and gardens were beautifully presented, the spa was warm, and the fire was set ready to be lit. Katherine's pride in her cottage and exceptional generosity were very much appreciated as were the wonderful views of the valley and quiet location. Highly recommended!"

It was the perfect location - rolling hills and complete peace but only five minutes to Gloucester. The house is beautiful, and equipped with everything we could have needed. "This was our second time staying at The Ridge and for good reason. If you are looking for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of city living I can definitely recommend this outstanding oasis. Tranquility, birds, Wallaroos, and a winding pathway leads you to a superbly designed house which can accommodate 2 families with ease. I love this place. Green frogs, the fire pit, relaxing outdoor setting overlooking the mountain ranges and Gloucester which is only 5-10 minutes away by car. Do nothing or do plenty with scenic drives, waterholes, and the famous Barrington Tops for those who like adventure. My favourite part was waking up every morning and seeing a different weather pattern. Some days were really foggy and other days were so clear. Being up so high felt like heaven. I’m sure we’ll see you again."
