"This is our first trip to Italy and we found the location of the apartment to be perfect near to Genoa centre and all the fabulous sights to visit. It was made all the more special by our lovely hosts Giorgio & Linda who couldn't have done more to help us. Giorgio collected us from the airport to the apartment, showed us around and gave us directions to many of the wonderful amenities in Genoa. "Perfect location in the middle between historic center and newer areas. Easy access to bus, taxi, and essentials. Easy pickup and drop off … this is good to know if you have a lot of luggage and are on a shopping spree. At other locations in small winding streets, often on inclines, it would be very difficult rolling bags on cobble stone narrow streets. "Great location and very clean. Met at time of arrival by property manager and at check out. Only suggestion is regarding the parking. Google maps does not show the street to enter on. Perhaps a picture of where to turn in would be helpful or a statement if you reach the Submarine you went one street too far."

"Great location. It was a stopping point so we only got to enjoy it for about 15 hours. Please add to video that it is down a flight of stairs to get to front door and lock box :) GPS when driving can’t get in front of building. Parking in Royal Garage was great. It has a 24 hour guard. I wish there were more pillows and better pillows but sheets and apartment were clean so that was good. There was a lot of early morning street noise but I guess that’s the downside of a great location."

"Great little apartment, the beds are up stairs on a loft so, you must be limber. Everything we needed was supplied to us by a very nice host. Location is great, we walked everywhere. I think it is central to both train stations but, we stoped at Bringnole station. The noise that the host warns you about is no joke , there a numerous night clubs right outside your room. These nightclubs make noise until 3am. If you can not deal with ear plugs as the only way to sleep then do not rent this...

"The property is in a noisy spot on weekends. They only give one roll if toilet paper despite being there for 4 days, no face cloths with towels, had to request hand soap. Could not close the shower door as it opens ‘in’ instead of out. A bit frustrating for spraying the bathroom when showering. Tile floors not good if a glass drops, had to ask for a broom and pan to clean up… Location is good for being a tourist at the waterfront although taxi could not find it… it is a remodeled apartment...

"The apartment was clean and well equipped for cooking , cleaning etc. The pictures of the place are accurate and the views are spectacular. The covered parking was great. The brick promenade made access to the train and shopping a special walk which we enjoyed immensely. Great place to stay but save the car rental and use the train. The station is a 15 minute walk and trains are frequent and cheap."

"This was my second stay at Hotel Liberty Genova, and I thoroughly enjoyed both visits! The hotel is housed in a stunning early 20th century building, and still has an original cage elevator - which adds a lot of charm! The setup doesn’t make the place feel like a hotel; rather, I felt like I was staying in a classy apartment building. The room was spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. And the location couldn’t be better … it’s on one of the main shopping streets, and a short walk from the Genova Brignole train station, Piazza de Ferrari and the Centro Storico (historic center). Lots of good restaurants within a 10-15 minute walk. Great value. Highly recommended!"
