"Stayed here for 3 nights and had low expectations when seeing it was a motel-style kind of place, but honestly it was a pretty nice place. The rooms were clean and the AC worked well once it got going. The pool was very clean when we went in it and the surrounding area is pretty nice and not too sketchy. It's a quick walk from a grocery store and some nice restaurants and it is easy to find. The staff were very nice and didn't have a problem answering any of our questions, shout out to the older gentlemen that helped us find the ice machine. Over all it's nothing special (if you're looking for the Hamptons this won't be your place) but it gets the job done well and I was happily surprised with my stay. I have already recommended it to my friend who is making a Vancouver trip later in the year!"

"Nice garden area. Pool and hot tub were about complicated to get to but otherwise lovely. Staff went above and beyond trying to help us locate my husband’s lost wallet. Nice big, well-appointed room. AC was super loud but worked great. Deck area was nice. Not the most scenic location but convenient."

"The Coast hotel by APA was in a great location close to a ton of restaurants and cafes and close enough to the waterfront to easily walk there. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful and we would.consider staying there again in the future!"
Carey Lodge at UBC

"Staff was helpful but the online checkin was confusing. If you book through a travel app -- you need to dig to find the code and there is no notification that you need to download the GOKI app. Inside the lobby of Carey Centre (though there are no signs to tell you) there is a reception desk where the staff was very helpful. Good value and very convenient location for any UBC-area travel needs. Would recommend it."
