"We enjoyed our stay but rooms were a little dated. Dry sauna is nice bonus but bare in mind it needs a while to warm up. Was a bonus having the restaurant in house as traveling with kids and great price on beer!"

English Bay Hotel

"This old hotel has seen better days - the kitchenette was a bit chipped and worn, toilet was very low and toilet seat was peeling. It was hard to regulate the shower temperature - it kept getting too hot or too cold, elevator was kind of creaky and slow. But the staff were very helpful (e.g. let us stay an hour beyond checkout time.) The room was clean, beds were comfortable, kitchenette was well equipped, and the location is wonderful - great view of English Bay out the window, just steps from the sea wall and lots of good restaurants of every type within a 2 block radius. And the price was very reasonable. We would happily stay there again."

"My friend and I really enjoyed our stay here. Great location, walking distance or quick bike ride/Uber to Stanley Park, Gastown, Canada Place, Granville Island, Davey Village etc.. The people working there were very kind and helpful. The exercise room could be a little bigger (more than two people would be too many), but otherwise well maintained and all public spaces were nice and clean I SO appreciated having a little kitchenette in the room -especially a real coffee pot (not k-cups, reall coffee!)! The bed, pillows, and bedding were so comfy! Would definitely stay here again! Thank you :)"
