"Love this place, we even went down to Kure Beach to find a different place to stay because my husband got a 22 foot boat so we needed a place to park it, well to find out the seabird has a place so he can park his boat so we are not going anywhere, it's a great place to stay "

"Yes, the place is very clean, but I have to say Vanessa is the most amazing clerk I have ever come across in any hospitality setting. She’s personable. She bends over backwards to make sure everything is right and comfortable. She is a Gym and this hotel is very lucky to have her. Also Phil is very nice and attentive as well. The hotel rooms are designed so it’s hard for you to leave things behind and I think that is a great idea. I’m definitely coming back to this location."

"Rooms are extremely run down. The pool area was okay but my swimsuit was ruined from the chemicals. I showed it to the staff but they did not want to take responsibility. Dogs are allowed, so watch where you step. Breakfast was just mediocre. I will not stay here again. Oak Island and Southport are amazing! "

"Fabulous location, walkable to the Boardwalk and surrounding restaurants! The room was a good size, nice to have a mini kitchen to do some easy cooking. Nice size refrigerator. Views were amazing!!! (We were on the 3rd floor). Not so great, the floors were dirty. It’s such a small area, why are the floors never CLEAN?!! Porch had 2 chairs, but room accommodates 4, so it would be awesome to have at least 4 chairs so everyone can sit and enjoy the view. And include a small side table. Still, we all (a family of 4), enjoyed our stay. "

"The room was very clean! Bathroom was spotless! Bed was very comfortable! Staff was accommodating! The view was perfect! Easy to get to the beach. A bit of a distance from restaurants. No microwave in the room. I was on the 3rd floor. No elevator. All water and ice machines are on the 1st floor. Those last 3 are my only real complaints. Not the end of the world! I will definitely be back!"
