Ultimate Beach Getaway in Beautiful Home with pool!

  • This isn't your average looking beach house. We are looking for renters who treat vacation homes like their own!

    Come to the beach to have ultimate relaxation in our wonderful island getaway. This beautifully maintained and decorated house is how coastal vacations should be! We are located just a SHORT walk to the Beach, Ocean Crest Pier and many island amenities. Or, stay in place and enjoy the private pool (with heating option available for $30/day fee)

    Our home features 3 Queen Beds, 1 King bed, a huge living room and open kitchen area, and 2 large bathrooms. Wi-Fi enabled for your enjoyment, DirecTV with many movies DVR'd for any age. 3 bedrooms features large Flat screen TV's, colorful bed linens and ceiling fans. Additional queen size blow up bed is great for kids.

    From our home you can enjoy the sunrise and sunset. It is also fun to take the short 15 minute drive into Southport where there are many things to do like go shopping, eat on the water at great places like Provisions, go biking, crabbing or just take a walk on the waterfront.

    Day trips to coastal locations like Bald Head Island, Fort Fisher to the NC Aquarium, Wilmington or Myrtle Beach where there are endless possibilities for fun. Oak Island is a laid back family beach where you can truly relax, but when you want more excitement it can be found a short distance away.

We loved the location, easy walk to the beach. The pool was nice after mornings at the beach. We traveled with small children and felt comfortable right as we arrived. We’d stay again!

The house is in a great location, short walk to the beach! The neighborhood is nice and quiet as well. The pool and the yard are a big plus for when you return from the beach and want to relax.

Great rental

We enjoyed our week stay at tgos wonderful rental. It's on a quiet street, with an easy walk to the beach on 25th. The pool is wonderful and relaxing. The house is very clean and the owner responsive. We will definitely rental again.

Great week at Oak Island

Always Great!

This is our second time staying and it was just as great as the first! The property is always clean and well kept. The owner is very receptive and responds quickly. Neighborhood is quiet and within walking distance to the beach! The pool is awesome! Definitely one of our favorite places to stay!

Amazing Vacation!!

This house was perfection!! Spacious, clean, with everything we needed and more. Just minutes walk to the beach, the coziest beds, and the heated pool was the best decision for when the nights get chilly! It’s also only a five minute drive the the nearest Publix and 20 minute drive to Southport. Could not have asked for a better house, location or host!

Awesome Family Beach Vacation

Location can’t be beat with short walk to the beach. Loved the private pool and covered area but pool is a little on the small side. Worked well for us with little kids. Loved that all living spaces were all on same floor which was ideal for little kids. House could benefit from a deep clean inside and out. Overall a great property and we enjoyed ourselves.

Perfect location

We love staying on the marsh side of Long Beach. This rental was perfect - walking distance to the beach and 5 minute drive to Publix. Great neighborhood - very quiet & good cycling. Home was very clean and well appointed with comfortable beds in all 4 bedrooms. The bedroom / bathroom layout was perfect to provide privacy for two couples. The outdoor area is spacious with heated pool and gas grill, with lots of seating areas for eating, and sunning. Enjoyed the screened porch for El fresco dining. Hosts were easy to communicate with throughout our stay.

Great beach house

This beach house is layed out prefect for family vacations, with a large common area ( kitchen/family), and the four bedrooms and two bathrooms that run off it. This makes it perfect for putting the young ones to bed and not worrying about any noise waking them up. The pool is just right for relaxing in the evenings after spending all day on the beach. The small ones had a blast swimming in the pool. It’s a short walk of about 5 minutes to the uncrowned beach. Will definitely being staying here again.

The house is spacious, clean, and well equipped. It’s just a short walk to the beach, and when we had enough beach we loved the swimming pool on the property. There was one small issue where the water pressure from the kitchen faucet was reduced to a trickle. One call to the owner and they had someone out immediately to fix it. We all enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house and look forward to returning.

If I could give 10 stars I would. What an awesome house. It had a great flow with the kitchen and living room. We can talk to each other no matter where we were In The house. It was perfect for our family even though it only had two bathrooms. We thought it would be a problem but it def wasn’t. The outside shower helped and was a perfect addition. We used the pool everyday. The outside area was a great place to come together and enjoy each others company and cool off from the hot sun. We will be back again!

This house will not disappoint!

This property was absolutely beautiful! As a mom of 3 young children my top priorities are safety and cleanliness. This house was spotless and linens came laundered in individual packaging which I so appreciated. There was only one entrance to the pool which was too high and complex for any of my kids to navigate without an adult— also extremely important. The pool was also heated which made a big difference for my little ones on windy days. The walk to the beach was maybe 3 minutes and that was with little legs so it was very close. Brian was so incredibly responsive and helpful. We loved our stay so much we extended our trip! In sea state is literally the perfect beach house and will be our go to for all future oak island trips! Thank you so much Brian!

Disappointing Stay

I was not going to leave this review on VRBO, but I reached out to the owner and never received a response. Upon arrival, I found blood stains on one of the comforters. I reached out to one of the owners and she said she thought she had got it all out and told me where to find another comforter. She asked if there was anything else and I mentioned one of the toilets was dirty and sent pics. She said she and her girlfriends stayed and had not noticed that. I also sent a picture of the freezer area, but got no further response. The 2nd day, I was sitting in the hammock swing and it came down on me. The bar hit my head hard. I reached out to the owner who said he was sorry and he wasn't sure why it was up, but asked if everything else was going okay. I ended up being seen for my head upon my return and mentioned this in my text to the owner, but I got no response. Additionally, there is mold on the ceiling in one bathroom. The layout is good and the pool area is nice, but I would not recommend due to the lack of care and communication given my situation. My 10 year old could have been the one in the swing and would have gotten hurt worse than I did.

It’s a quite good location . The house is nice and roomy. The furniture needs cleaning along with the bedroom carpets. The pool was not what it should have been and I had to all VRBO to get it cleaned but then after that it still wasn’t heated ,so I gave up on using the pool. What was a selling point for us we couldn’t use. This was our 3rd time staying here and first time having pool trouble.
