"An ideal setting and base camp for exploration. Convenient to Grindelwald train station and a short (uphill) walk to downtown. Nestled in the mountains — every day we were struck by the views — with and without fog. The apartment had everything we needed. Laundry access was a bonus! "

"Lovely view from the deck and nice home with clean facilities. We enjoyed our visit and love the town of Wengen. Only reason not a 5 star rating .....Had a musty smell but wasn't sure if that was from the communal hallway or unit itself. We bought some cleaner and scent to eliminate odor. The other factor was the old furniture and decorations. They were functional and clean. With a decorating makeover this house could be a 5 due to all other factors. "

"This place was so peaceful and amazing! Easy check in at the train station when you arrive, and about a 10 min walk mostly downhill (so uphill on the way back). The most beautiful views of Lauterbrunnen valley. Lovely porch to sit out on, comfy couches, stocked kitchen, washer dryer in unit. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!"

My husband and I were traveling with our 2 year old twins so location was very important to us and this was perfectly located never everything and was easily walkable! "Everything was well thought out to make an ideal base to stay at during out skiing trip. The only thing to note would be garage was a very tight fit.. width wise if you have a large car. Plenty of length & height but thought the driver may need to climb out through the boot!. ( we have a VW Touareg) Having said that its great to have a garage and once there we had no need to get it out until we left."
