"Excellent service, everything was very good. The girl who attended me, named Noemí, was very attentive. The room had everything it promised, very cozy, everything was easily accessible, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. I highly recommend the cabin—excellent service."

"Good to sleep with the sounds of the ocean waves is very soothing. Beach vibe, sandy floor first floor. Hardwood floor second floor. Great location. Plenty of restaurants and bars near by. Would definitely stay here again. "

"Monkey Lala is a great place to stay if you want beachfront property in El Tunco. The rooms are well taken care of and the patio space is abundant. The only thing I would say is make sure you bring some earplugs or noise cancelling headphones as it gets quite loud on fridays and Saturdays with the discotec right next to the property. If you can get past that small thing, its totally worth the stay. Wonderful. "

"Our experience at this rental was disappointing from the start. Upon arrival, we had no check-in details and spent over an hour trying to reach the host. When we finally got into the room, we found it unclean—there was hair on the sheets, ants on the pillow, bugs on the walls, and a very dirty bathroom. Additionally, there was no hot water and very little water pressure, which was never mentioned in the listing. When I was finally able to speak with the host, she told me that she does not clean...

"I stayed at this hotel in March of 2016 with my husband. Although we liked the large, beachfront rooms, the service was absolutely terrible. It took almost 2 hours for lunch to be served because the waitstaff were all seated trying to watch a soccer game. We thought service would improve when the game was over but they were always sitting down talking and look annoyed when people would try to get their attention for another beer or something to eat. You could see a big difference between the...

"Stayed two nights during Semana Santa. The place is directly on a nice beach, but once you are there, you are there and there aren't any other bars and restaurants around. You'll need a car to reach it. The owner was very attentive, asking numerous times if we liked the place. It has a certain charm but I can't say that it has much in the way of comfort. For the price we paid, you'd expect some beach lounge chairs with cushions and chairs that aren't falling apart. Breakfast was...

"Not a hotel. 2 separate 'bungalows' with a common area kitchen, pool and palapa. We did not have a car but found a local in Playa El Tunco who knew the location and found us a driver. Could be a real challenge for first time arrivals (no sign). Spanish speaking caretakers live nearby eager to please. Bit of a hike to El Tunco, plus 100 or so steps to the bungalows. Very dark at night hiking from town. Would be better for small group self catering. Price too high for what you get."

"We had a 6 night stay at the Courtyard Marriott and booked a total of four rooms for a family vacation. The hotel is located in a very nice area of San Salvador, right next door to a mall with several restaurants and shops. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always greeting us and being willing to go above and beyond. The hotel breakfast (not included in the room we chose) was outstanding, undoubtedly the best hotel breakfast we’ve ever experienced. If you have breakfast by yourself, the price is a bit steep at $27.99, however you get a discount for the second breakfast. Be prepared for pupusas, plátanos, chorizo, pastries, and much, much more. The selections change each day and I can say we enjoyed it each time! The only area that could use some improvement is the condition of the rooms. I feel like the bathroom fixtures and other small details should be updated to match the aesthetics and cleanliness of the lobby and other common areas, which were always very clean and modern. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future. Thank you to all the staff for making our El Salvador vacation a memorable one!"
"The area offers exceptional convenience, placing you within easy reach of numerous attractions and amenities. Just steps away, you’ll find the palace, the library, and a historic church, along with a diverse selection of restaurants to suit every taste. Charming boutiques and gift shops make it easy to find something special for family and friends. The neighborhood is also consistently lively, with frequent events and activities that ensure there is always something engaging to enjoy. It’s a vibrant and welcoming location that truly has something for everyone.
The hotel itself provides a comfortable stay, though the experience could be further enhanced by adding small refrigerators in the rooms and offering a wider variety of breakfast options. These improvements would make an already pleasant visit even more enjoyable."
