"Was originally put off with the BROWN Paint on the external metal as it appeared old and rusted. I was incorrect, the place is new and the paint was new. Just an optical illusion. They supplied Fresh Bread and Local Jams. Being Country people they offered a warm welcome. Down stairs double bedroom, with door, Upstairs was Double Bed and Single Bed, in an open environment. Accomodation was immaculate with all the Kitchen utensils and plates and bowls etc. Great for a country get away"

Kangaroos in the yard, birds singing in the trees, a magnificent view across a largely undisturbed valley. The hosts provides everything you need for a comfortable stay, plus a lot of unexpected amenities. They are right up the hill from you if you need anything...and a million miles away...

"The cottage was good and the beds super comfortable (essential) the cottage suited our needs perfectly. The weather was awful, sadly, but typical of the mountains and we were not surprised. At the age of 85 I was able to access everything easily. The warm bathroom floor was a bonus! All appliances easy to operate. No problems."

The manicured gardens created a peaceful and calming atmosphere, a perfect escape from the excitement of the Bathurst 1000 week. The decor was lovely, adding a touch of history to our experience. "We loved our stay. It was private with a lovely backyard. The attention to keeping the “vintage” look but having all the modern appliances was the best. Our hostess checked in to make sure all was ok and even supplied robes and slippers! There was nothing missing that we could have needed. This was our 1st time to Australia and we so enjoyed the Blue Mtns…everything was close. Thank you for the wonderful Stay."
