"My stay at Aaron's Cottage was good, they left detailed instructions on how to self check-in once I arrived. The property itself is close to a beach in the back, close to downtown Hilo, some tourist attractions and restaurants that can be easily accessed with a car. The unit was cleaned and well stocked with essential amenities, it has an air conditioner and ceiling fan to keep the place cool. There's a communal kitchen that can be used if opt to stay in. Overall, the place is quiet and I had a good experience. "

"We were in Hawaii for 2 weeks, and stayed at several hotels, and the Plumeria Hilo Hotel had the best room by far because ut was more like an apartment than just a hotel room. There was a fridge, micorwave, hot plate, dishes, etc. A bit a road noise, but the beach was close by."

"Room is cozy, clean with everything you need. And a fireplace! Front desk staff is super helpful and friendly. We didn’t have the luck to see the volcano eruption and lava flows, but staying at this place compensated a lot."
